We are now ISO9001 accredited for Manufacture supply and installation of PVC and Aluminium window and door systems and have successfully passed and audit.
Our Commitment to sustainability has been evident from the outset. We have been recycling our PVC offcuts since we started manufacturing and were among the first fabricators to use organically stabilised lead free profile.
We are ISO 14001 accredited. We recycle our broken/surplus glass, all our paper and we endeavour to recycle any unit extracted when one of our units is installed.
We recently under went an office move and took the opportunity to change the name/image of the company. We have rebranded as CMS Enviro Systems as we feel the name lends itself better to competing in the current market climate.
In the last two years we have been servicing proactive and reactive window/door maintenance contracts for housing specifiers and have exceeded service level expectation.
We have recently installed a 'Carbon Neutral' Bio-mass burner in help reduce our 'carbon footprint' and future projects will include implementation of carbon trust recommendations on carbon neutral buildings and reduction if vehicle emissions.
Product/Service Profile
Over the years we have continually looked at making improvements in our windows thermal performance and aesthetic appearance, and improving our manufacturing process.
We made considerable investment in state of the art machinery which streamlined our manufacturing, improved our product and our production throughput with the same amount of staff.
Introducing new components including soft coat low emisity glass and re-inforcement gave the window increased thermal performance and increased strength.
Working in conjunction with our system supplier we have also improved the appearance using the appropriate profile.
We thought that was all we could do….
Wrong !
Our focus turned to… sustainability, the environment and global warming but we were already recycling all our excess manufacturing materials which lead us to look at what was happening with the windows that we were replacing….LANDFILL !! .
What could we do? Answer, RECYCLE them.
Over the last year we have carried out various pilot schemes with two of our customers namely Fife council and East Dunbartonshire Council which have both been very successful with over 95% of the extracted components being recycled. We look forward to the challenge of completely closing the loop on our manufacturing and recycling process.
