Senior Architectural Systems

CMS Enviro Systems work together with major system suppliers including, Senior Architectural Systems (SAS) to deliver high specification facade and glazing systems for the commercial and residential construction markets.

Together, CMS and SAS offer an extensive suite of solutions for a number of applications including curtain wall (low-rise to high-rise), frameless facade systems; shop fronts, doors (pivoted, hinged, sliding and folding), patent glazing, commercial windows, residential windows and doors, patio doors and secondary glazing.

Curtain Wall Systems

CMS Enviro Systems provide high performance curtain wall solutions for new and refurbished buildings using SAS systems.

Available in five ranges:

SCW - semi-unitised, SCW+ - enhanced thermal break, semi-unitised systems are utilised in low-medium rise building with a unique plate construction allowing snap-in assembly on site, alternatively the system can be fabricated in a semi-unitised capacity if a tighter programme dictates.

SMR900 - high performance, SMR800 enhanced thermal break, high performance systems are used for medium rise construction and offer a stick systems comprising of hollow box mullion and transom sections, offering enhanced structural integrity catering for large span construction. High weather and thermal performance is also achieved.

SMRF - a frameless glazed system utilising components from the SCW and SMR systems to create a frameless glazed facade and vent system.

Each system has been tested to requirements of BS6375 and weather tested to the requirements of CWCT. Thermal requirements of approved document L and section 6 in Scotland are also achieved.

Window Systems

Available in 3 systems

STW200 for light to medium use - used in low rise construction the thermally broken window comes in an aesthetically pleasing 44mm frame. The window can also be used in conjunction with all curtain walling systems available.

SPW300 for medium to high performance- available in casement, reversible, tilt turn and pivot style the 51mm frame window offers excellent variation of style, with high thermal and weather performance, also compatible for use with all curtain walling systems above.

SPW600 for high performance - available in all styles as the 300 series the 600 series offer and excellent weather and thermal performance using an enhanced 75mm frame, as its 300 counterpart it is also compatible for use with all curtain walling systems above.

Each window system has been tested to requirements of BS 6375 and that of BS 7950 for enhanced security, With CMS Enviro Systems offering unique Secured By Design Status for many of the styles above - See secured by design area for more details.

Door Systems

CMS Enviro Systems offer SAS Ground Floor Systems that have been developed to maximise aesthetics and minimise complexity. Depending on architectural style, the SFG and SD range is available either flush glazed or bead glazed. All major profiles are 100mm deep. Face dimensions are 45mm for single glazing and 50mm for double glazing. Specific profiles for 90 degree corners and variable corners are available together with square and sloping beads to easily accommodate facdes with individual requirements. CMS Enviro Systems can either single or double glaze SFG and SD products. Single glazed profiles accept units to a thickness of 24mm. All glazing is achieved using gaskets to ensure maximum performance and minimum in-service maintenance. Gasketry is manufactured in accordance with BS 3743 and glazing carried out in accordance with BS 6262.

Senior Door Systems are also designed to offer architects and specifiers a comprehensive range of options for personnel access, emergency escape, automatic entrances and large sliding doors. Working from an integrated range of profiles and accessories, CMS Enviro Systems is able to offer entrance solutions tailored to a client's needs. These include:
