Specialist manufacturers of PVCu and Aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling
Making the right window and door choice in today's low carbon economy means putting product sustainability at the heart of the decision-making process.
Where windows are concerned, that demands all types of considerations from the raw materials used in the window's manufacture, through its thermal performance and maintenance requirements in-use, to what happens at the end of its service life.
Most suppliers' offer only one solution and their sustainability advice is heavily influenced by that supply chain. By offering such a diverse product portfolio CMS gives unbiased view of the sustainability and performance of each of their products allowing the customer to make the right decision for them.
In addition to being ISO 9001 accredited for the manufacture supply and installation of window and door systems, the company is one of the few fabricators who also have ISO 14001 accreditation. This globally recognised environmental management standard certifies that CMS Enviro Systems has demonstrated to assessors that every aspect of its operations meet the accepted environmental requirements.
With PVC products made from organically stabilised lead-free BS 7412 kite marked profile (containing no heavy metals), Timber 'Hybrid' windows made from timber from a sustainable forest and Aluminium being infinitely recyclable you can be assured your product has been manufactured in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
Furthermore, you can be satisfied that the following practices further enhance the 'green' credentials of your product. CMS have a carbon neutral biomass heating system, they recycle all their production offcuts, they recycle 99% of post consumer extracted windows, they recycle all Polythene, recycle all cardboard, recycle all paper, have energy efficient lighting and compact what little waste they do send to landfill to minimise its effect. It is proven to meet level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes and therefore help to make zero carbon housing a reality today, in advance of the 2016 requirement.
