By its very name CMS Enviro Systems Ltd demonstrates that it takes its environmental responsibilities seriously. The environmental activities of our business is not only restricted to those associated with our manufacturing and administration processes but also to the type of products we provide and the added value services we are developing for our client base and beyond. Environmental activities include (but are not restricted to the following);

• Close monitoring of material used
• Recycling PVC off-cuts
• Recycling of metal, glass, timber, paper , cardboard, plastic, cans etc... with a view to achieving zero waste to landfill by 2010
• Installation of biomass heating system to displace expensive fuel oil system
• Specification of energy efficient equipment where practical
• Specification of organically stabilised profile
• Development of reinforcement using recycled materials
• Development and certification of our "A-rated" EnviroWindow that will become standard for all our customers

As a business we are also at the forefront of working with our profile supplier and the PVC industry as a whole to introduce the Homogenous Energy Dynamics (HED) the UK's first ZERO carbon home compliant window system (0.8u value). This is being publicised as "tomorrows window today" and illustrates the PVC industry commitment to introduce energy conscious products in keeping with the Code for Sustainable Homes requirements.

As a separate added value service we have also developed the capacity to recycle PVC and Timber windows/doors to the industry sector in Scotland. This has been extremely well received by our main customer base.

We breakdown and recycle your old windows
into bi products. 100% of these bi products are then recycled to create many things including new windows.
