Thermlock FP

We currently have the highest rated fully reinforced window in the UK (according to the BFRC-British Fenestration Ratings Council) that can achieve U values as low as 0.8Wm2K.

The O.8 window is lead, barium and cadmium free and wholly recyclable at the end of its 35 year life cycle. It's also available in a variety of finishes including woodgrain.

Tests confirm it can meet Level 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes all of which can help to make zero carbon homes well in advance of the 2016 legislation. The Zero Carbon window is fully reinforced with Thermlock FP and is available in all window styles as well as being officially licensed Secured by Design the windows are also certified to BS 7950, BS 6375 and BS 7412.

Thermlock FP is a structural PVC foam fixing reinforcement made from 100% lead, barium and cadmium free PVC. Unlike other suppliers who rely on metal based reinforcements we have developed this metal-free PVC reinforcement in collaboration with our system supplier LB Plastics.

It is 50% lighter than a metal reinforcement, has better fixing properties and overall reduces a window weight by 15%. As well as its environmental credentials it also boasts better manual handling, which means it's easier and safer to work with when manufacturing and installing.
