Operative Training and Competence

Skills training and competence is a priority at CMS Enviro Systems. Currently, all of our site and manufacturing operatives are trained to CSCS card and NVQ level respectively. CMS Enviro Systems are committed to good health and safety practice and apply comprehensive and continuous risk assessment throughout the entire life cycle of project.

Project Induction

All CMS Enviro Systems staff and operatives on site will attend an induction which will be undertaken by the Project Manager. This induction will cover issues such as potential hazards and restrictions of the immediate environment, site rules, as well as conveying our commitment to a "zero tolerance" Health and Safety culture. This is backed up with an induction booklet and a site pass for sub contractors, where appropriate.

Initial Risk Assessment

We conduct risk assessments of all our work activities, whether in the factory or out on construction sites. We use a team approach involving management and workforce to carry out detailed assessments on the various tasks and operations. Once we have identified all of the risks we then determine the controls to be used to protect our own staff, contractors, visitors and the public. We constantly monitor the effectiveness of our controls and are proud of the fact that we not only meet legislative requirements but exceed them.
