Casements

Designed specifically to match traditional British windows, the outward opening casement window is available with bevelled rebates. CMS casement windows only manufactured internally glazed which adds to providing maximum security and is compatible with other CMS windows, door, and curtain walling systems.

Composition

Sections extruded from impact modified 100% lead free PVC complying with BS7413.

Appearance

Smooth surface in white or woodgrain to match traditional casement styling.

Size

Windows are manufactured to customers' specifications. Maximum recommended size or individual top hung opening lights is 1100mm W x 1100mm H. For individual side hung opening lights 900mm x 1400mm - single light.

Fittings and Hardware

CMS casement windows can accommodate a full range of hinges and operating mechanisms, which have been designed specifically to achieve optimum weather, safety and security performance for each system. A range of high security and aesthetically pleasing stainless steel fittings are available.

Maintenance

Any espagnolette and friction hinge mechanism should be kept free of debris and sprayed with lubricant/protective coating at six-monthly intervals.

Weatherseals and Gaskets

All CMS windows and doors come with fully co-extruded weatherseals and gaskets which are welded at the corners to give exceptional weathertightness.
